Peni (pronouned Beni in his Tongan culture) is the fashion designer behind BENi.

ABOUT

BENi is a high-end streetwear / street-sport brand, based in Aotearoa. Founded and created by Peni Moala, BENi launched in Spring of 2018 with the BENi summer print line.

Peni is inspired to create story telling with his garments: he vividly remembers watching a woman walk down a runway on television as a child, and the impact that that outfit had on the audience. He is on a mission to create that same impact, through his work.

After training and working in the industry, Peni secured a place in the very first New Zealand Project Runway - consistently impressing the judges with his garments.

Peni is based in Queenstown, Aotearoa, and is currently working on the BENi high-end streetwear / street-sport 2019 Winter Collection
